As I already own 3 other badger brushes I wasn't sure I needed yet another, but since I enjoy turning handles and had a beautiful piece of Thuya burl I decided to try this mixed badger/boar knot. I just had my first shave with it and I'm very impressed. It's a real lather monster, just like my Silvertip Badger but with a bit more stiffness and a touch of coarseness from the boar hairs. I think I may prefer it to the straight badger.
