Are you sure this is synthetic? This brush is Awesome!
I have used a badger brush for the last 11 years, and I have to say that this brush absolutely blows my badger brushes away! It holds heat, lathers great, and feels as smooth as silk on my face! Would recommend 10 out of 10, I love it!
I have a lot of razors and I bought this one because like the One Blade razors it combines a pivoting head with a single blade (a cartridge unlike the One Blade). It has become a favourite because it’s easy to use (the pivoting head) and the blade is really sharp. The only downside is the non-recyclability of the cartridges and the fact that additional cartridges are individually wrapped, which appears wasteful. But this shouldn’t detract too much from the fact that this is a great razor and provides a safe and enjoyable shaving experience.
I receive more positive comments about this brush than any of my many other AP Shave Co brushes. Of course, the Muhle STF knot is magnificent but the Etched Dinosaur feels superb and adds a little fun to the shave experience.
New to wet shaving and all the gear, but compared to 2 other brushes I have, this one leaves them in the dust. Super thick, soft and luxurious and makes loads of lather! I seem to be developing into a face-latherer...this brush works great for that. Will be holding on the this one, it is a keeper.
After writing to Andrew and having him recommend this knot I had high hopes. Well, the reality has met the expectations. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Enough backbone to efficiently pick up soap and then generate a beautiful lather. Soft enough for excellent, comfortable, face lathering. Highly recommended.
This brush is such a beautiful and super soft brush. I am a face lather shaver and this brush is a wonderful change of pace compared to my three AP Shave Co Muhle STF brushes. I thoroughly advocate this a brush to add to your collection.
Love the knots and service. Bought a second brush immediately. First brushes knot is set too low because I choose the loft height. Totally my fault. The second brush I let Andrew choose and it's a keeper.
