It all started on reddit. Andrew founded AP Shave Co. in 2016 after falling in love with wetshaving by being a community member in both subreddits. It all started with the now widely famous Tuxedo knot and has expanded in recent years to a wider range of synthetic (and badger!) knots, handles, and full brushes.

Andrew has spent the past couple of years creating shaving brush options for every budget. Whether you're looking for no non-sense brush to get the job done everyday, or a functional piece of art that will last you a lifetime, AP Shave Co. has plenty of options for you.

AP Shave Co. believes in supporting small businesses. As such, we source raw materials from small suppliers across the world: UK, Germany, Italy, USA, France, Japan, and more, for the handcrafted handle line.

HISTORY

Established in 2016 by Andrew, AP Shave Co. was the originator of the now world famous "Tuxedo" synthetic shaving brush knot. Shortly after, I released the Cashmere and Faux Horse knots which has also been quite popular among wet-shavers. In 2017, the SilkSmoke knot was released, and become a very strong seller. In 2018, the SynBad was released. 2019 brought more additions including the Gel tipped "Gelousy" badger knots being the first knot that could promise 100% chance of gel tips. In 2020, AP Shave Co. added fan shaped knots to it's arsenal and has expanded its offerings even more. 

In 2021, AP Shave Co. brought in synthetic hair from sources like Japan & Germany under the G5 line, which are now widely regarded as some of the highest quality synthetic knots on the market.

GOALS

There are two goals of AP Shave Co.

One is be different. I want to bring unique, and high quality products to wet-shavers around the world. AP Shave Co. aims to do things the people have never done before in this hobby. With a focus on high quality and product differentiation, AP Shave Co. attempts to bring wet-shavers the best and most high quality shaving products on the market for a fraction of the cost of it's competitors. It's as simple as that.

The other is to support artists from around the world. World class resin artistry should be rewarded. By purchasing from the handcrafted line, you are directly supporting unique works of art from talented artists from the UK, Germany, Italy, USA, France, Japan, and more. SHIPPING

Orders tend to ship the day after they are placed, depending on my availability. I am a one man operation, so I try to do the best I can with the time I have. You can expect a 1-3 day shipping time after an order is placed as a standard.
