FAQs

How long does shipping take?

This depends on a variety of things. Where you're located & the time of the year are most critical typically. I can only provide approximations. In Canada, it takes anywhere from 2-10 business days. To the USA, it takes approx. 5-8 business days. Internationally, it is approx. 10-15 business days.

Is there a free shipping threshold?

No. I do not offer free shipping due to the complexity of how many countries I ship to. As such I offer the best price possible on my products then the cheapest (but most reliable) shipping options.

Do you have discount codes?

No. I do not use discount codes - prices on the website are ALWAYS the best prices available. I rarely do sales, and if I do, it is for factory seconds / scratch & dent / etc.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, if it has not shipped yet I can change, or cancel your order. If it has already shipped, I cannot cancel or make any changes.

I made two orders. Can I combine shipping?

Yes, if I catch it I will ask if you want to combine shipping & refund you additional charges. However the best way to ensure shipping is combined is to reach out to me via email (andrew@apshaveco.com).

What is your refund policy?

My full refund policy is available here.

What are synthetic knots made of?

Synthetic knots are made of PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a thermoplastic engineering polymer.

What do you use to assemble brushes?

All brushes are set with GE Silicone.

Where are your brushes assembled?

Every brush is assembled by hand here in Ottawa, Canada.

Where are your brush parts manufactured?

All parts are manufactured with the help of various different production partners in China. I source & import raw materials myself as-well, from countries around the world. Germany, Japan, USA, Italy, to name a few. The origin of imported raw materials is typically stated on the product page. If you have additional questions, please reach out.

How can I be notified if a product restocks?

The best way to be notified of product restocks is to sign up for my newsletter. (bottom of the homepage)

Do you sell stands for your brushes?

No, and brushes really don't need a stand. They dry just as well sitting on their base as they do hanging upside down.
