This might be my favorite brush of the AP series!

I read some good reviews of the cashmere brush so I had to throw one in my cart along with the G5 series brushes I picked up, which I love.

I have to say, though, my favorite of all is the cashmere knot - it is very soft, has sufficient backbone (on the low side, but surprisingly effective), whips up an incredible soap, and retains water as well as any of my non-synthetic brushes do. This was a big (but happy!) surprise to me and I find my self reaching for my cashmere knot more than any other in my pretty extensive collection. Highly recommend!

Cashmere Knot: softest of all

I started with a cashmere fan, knot. It it was extremely soft, but I did not like how flimsy it was. It was really hard to load the soap because it had absolutely no backbone at all. It would be great with a cream. So I purchased the bulb, and has become my second favorite knot! My favorite is your golden nib, three banded knot. If you love extremely soft bristles, as I do, you will absolutely love the cashmere bulb! It has enough backbone to load well from a tub. I absolutely love it! I also appreciate how fast you can get them to us in the United States.

Super soft lather beast!

Wow this is an amazing knot!! It’s so soft and releases lather or flow through among the best of any synthetic I’ve tried. Very low backbone which is what I love for a face lather. If you want backbone this is NOT the knot for you. I redid 3 brushes with these cashmere knots I liked it so much.

Sinful Softness!

A very plush, velvety soft knot. Minimal to moderate backbone. Superb face feel. Lathers quickly and gives it up without issue. A good candidate for all-around brush, bested in my opinion by the Silksmoke knot due to its backbone. But YMMV.
