What a great safety razor for home and travel if you are a consistent user! I got REAL tired of paying so much for those multi-bladed plastic razors and remembered by father's old Hoffritz, wanting one myself. Well, I converted to safety razors and love them! When I got an email to purchase a TSA-approvable razor, I jumped at the chance. It took me a few weeks to get a trip to take it with me, but LOVED it. As advertised, the first shave IS a slight bit aggressive and I had to get used to the "floating head" of the razor, but had a great 10 shaves, including those back home when I returned. The Penny Shaver Handle is robust and weighty, so you will not feel like you have a feather in your hand. But - I still felt like I could handle the razor in feather-like strokes on my beard. I like how that blades are individually wrapped to ease taking a new blade with me safely for each trip! My son-in-law has another Christmas present coming; I bet that he will find it great as well!

What a superb knot this is! I love it. It is dense, lathers exceptionally well and is luxurious to use. I feel that loft could be at 50mm which bring forth the excellent back bone this brush has but 52 mm is a good compromise. If you want a one and done synthetic, this could be it!

This is another great synthetic knot from Andrew. It’ll appeal to lovers of backbone, IMO. It has a little more than a G5A, IME, yet still has soft tips. It also looks awesome and adds that wow factor to any brush you set it in. I started being a 24mm knot guy, but now I’m starting to think that 22mm is the perfect size for me, especially my face. Love your products Andrew, I hope you’re in business for a long time!

I bought this primarily for use traveling on the recommendation of a friend. It splays nicely, and has good backbone. The tips are quite soft though not quite as soft as my best badger. But the slightly stiffer feel of the tips ensures my face gets that scrubby sensation that allows my soap to feel like it gets into the pores. It fits perfectly into the 26mm rubber collet of my Timeless adjustable brush handle. I find that I alternate using this knot with my best badger knot every other day just because I enjoy the different sensation that each knot provides.

Hard for me to pick just one. I own several of these knots and brushes and all provide fantastic shaving experiences. This vendor responds to all my emails. Overall, an excellent experience which is why I keep coming back! I would recommend APSHAVECO wholeheartedly.

I used an Amazon "badger" brush when I started 6 months ago. Now this brush is like not even on the same planet. Richer lather, closer shave, way less razor burn. 3 passes no problem now. It has a high quality look and feel, the synthetic bristles actually dry between shaves. No noticeable shedding at all. Amazing 10/10.
