Very nice brush. The Muhle STF knot is one of the most highly praised knots on shaving review sites, and I like it very much. I prefer the shape of the handle over the Muhle original. Also, this knot with the Muhle handle costs $28 more than the AP product. Great deal at AP. I did not need any special service on the purchase, but AP customer service has been excellent in the past.

I had a badger brush of questionable quality before trying the G5C. I think this was an upgrade in every dimension. Feels nice and doesn't need to soak before use. It has yet to shed a "hair" after a few weeks of use.

I appreciate that it's a natural product. It has a sturdy weight and an ergonomic shape.

It is a nice and light handle.
Feels a little bit raw (not polished plastic), but that gives it also a little bit more grip with your slippery hands 😉

Product has been amazing. Soft with great backbone

I purchased this knot with a very inexpensive “second” handle. This brush is incredible. The knot is so soft and feels amazing on your face. It looks and feels like a badger knot without the smell. Plus it’s cruelty free. The backbone is perfect for my needs. I love supporting a small Canadian business that offers superb value.

The 26mm G5C Premium Synthetic knot I ordered arrived several days before I expected it to. This thing is perfect for face lathering. It loads quickly and splays out on your face with just the right amount of stiffness, whips up an impressive lather in seconds with every soap I've tried it with, and easily holds enough soap for a 3-pass shave plus clean-up without having to load again. In the time I've had it, it's shed all of one bristle. I'm seriously considering buying another just in case something happens to this one.
